Full Weekend Workshop Package

The Great Southwest Lindyfest is a weekend workshop that brings extraordinary swing dance instructors into the area to teach Lindy Hop and related dances. This workshop is designed for Lindy Hop dancers at the Beginner-Intermediate level and above. If you are brand new to swing dancing or Lindy Hop, we recommend you take the 2-day Beginner's Track or weekly lessons provided by the Houston Swing Dance Society.

$120 rate for the first 40 registrants

$139 early registration until January 15th, 2010

$120 International rate / Junior rate-18 and under (ID required) through March 5th ,2010

All workshop prices include all workshops and dances Thursday through Sunday

Beginner's Workshop

Do you know someone who's eager to learn lindy hop but just can't commit to going to weekly classes? We are offering a special Beginner's Track crash course for people looking to start their journey into Lindy Hop during the Lindyfest weekend.

We start from the very beginning and teach you how to put the triple in your step. You'll also be treated to special visits from inspirational legends of the dance. Registration is only $55 and includes 8 hours of instruction at the Sheraton Hotel.

$10-Sunday 9:00pm-3am (If you paid for the month of HSDS classes, you will need to show your voucher to get in free to the Sunday dance only.)
